Victor Mitchell got in the race for governor early and, quite frankly, has charged harder than just about any of the 23 other candidates for governor. He also loaned his campaign $3 million from the get-go, so he also enjoys a healthy early lead in cash.
Joey Bunch is the senior political correspondent for Colorado Politics. He has a 31-year career in journalism, including the last 15 in Colorado. He was part of the Denver Post team that won the Pulitzer Prize in 2013 and is a two-time Pulitzer finalist.
