Thanks to Webb for exposing legislative follies

Dear Editor,

I am enjoying the articles by Pete Webb in your newspaper. He wrote about ways the budget could be trimmed — most people just complain but have no concept of the problem of balancing the budget. To have someone actually suggest constructive ideas was refreshing. Also his article about unnecessary bills that take time and money to go through the process and have no chance of passing, was right on target. The Legislature could become much more efficient and it is good to expose some of the silliness and political posturing at a time when we have grave financial problems.

Keep up the good work, Pete!
