New GOP Senate leaders make CUT

Author: - November 19, 2010 - Updated: November 19, 2010

Dear Editor,

What do all of the new Republican Senate leaders have in common? Senate Minority Leader Mike Kopp, Assistant Minority Leader Bill Cadman, Minority Caucus Leader Mark Scheffel, Minority Whip Scott Renfroe, and new Senator Kent Lambert elected to the Joint Budget Committee all earned 100 percent CUT ratings for the 2010 legislative session distinguishing them as taxpayer champions. This leadership team has a voting record supporting lower taxes, smaller government, and reduced spending. This is good news for Colorado taxpayers. The Colorado Union of Taxpayers (CUT) congratulates the new Republican Senate leaders.

Founded in 1976, the Colorado Union of Taxpayers is Colorado’s long-serving advocate for taxpayers.
